3. Link up your Instagram Web Profile:

Just link up your new Instagram Web Profile (http://instagram.com/username) -OR- your web viewer of choice in the linky below!
Note: this URL will not let you choose a profile pic from your feed, so be sure you have a picture you can upload from your computer if you use it! If you get a "Error: The requested URL returned error: 500" error that just means it can't find a picture to use NOT that your link is bad. Just click on "Direct Image URL" if you have one or "Upload from Computer". If you still have trouble, try sticking with Followgram or Webstagram to upload your profile.

4. NEW! Link up your Vine Username and/or Video!

Add your Vine username (so folks can find you) to the list below! Or link up a Vine video so we can see your cinematography at work! This is new, so there aren't web profiles just yet, but hopefully they'll be out soon! How do you find your video link? If you post your video on Facebook or Twitter, you will be given a URL that looks like this: "http://vine.co/v/bJegq22datT." Just link that up below with your username so we can find you! If you don't have a URL to one of your videos, simply link up your blog URL, but make sure the title is your Vine username so we can find you!

5. Check out and follow a few fellow Instagram or Vine friends.

Tell folks you follow that you found them through the Hop!

6. Spread the word!

Tweet about it, share it on Facebook or post about it on Instagram!

Now let's link up!

National Infertility Awareness Week

I usually find the online community I entered many years ago to be a place to find encouragement and inspiration. As a woman who just turned 30 it has become normal to wake up to new Instagram, Facebook and blog posts with women announcing their pregnancy, in both my online community world as well as my in-real-life friends and family.

Read the rest of my post over on SpouseBuzz here.

so this is what 30 looks like

I think it has been over a month since my last post. Wow does time fly when you start working full time again.  I didn't plan to take a blogging hiatus but sometimes taking a step back gives you great perspective and energizes you again.

Last Monday, I celebrated the big 3-0.  I received so much love and flowers that I will turn 30 every year if it means that much love :)

The few days before my birthday Scott surprised me with a trip to the Outer Banks to have some beach time.  The week leading up to the trip was gorgeous but then we got there and a cold front was coming in.  We had a great time having a mini-getaway and putting our feet in the sand. I only wish I could have sat on the beach and sipped margaritas.

The first thing we did after getting our room key was walk out onto the beach.

Morning sunrise and view from our balcony.

Scott woke up super early to run to Dunkin Donuts to get me my favorite iced coffee. I spent the morning on the balcony reading, drinking coffee and listening to the waves.

The only pants I brought were my mint skinnies so it meant creating a few new outfits that I ended up loving. {hat: gift via Nordstrom // sweatshirt: Charlotte Russe // Hanes White t-shirt: via husband // mint skinnies: Target // sunnies: c/o Firmoo // Necklace: Lisa Leonard}

Evening stroll on the beach

Since the weather was a bit cold we came home late Saturday night. We spent Sunday morning on the front porch drinking coffee and reading.  Love my new anthro mug I bought as a gift to myself.

We decided to check out the botanical gardens and pack a picnic.

The gardens were gorgeous, so pretty and peaceful in fact we decided to buy a year family membership!

Doesn't everyone buy a membership to the botanical gardens the day before they turn 30?!

Scott and I at my birthday dinner at one of our favorite restaurants.

Scott surprised me and had some of our wonderful friends join us for my birthday dinner.

We ended the night with a red velvet cake and candles that said I was 20, because my sweet husband said I don't look a day over 20 :)

I have been thinking a lot about this little blog and I want to make some pretty big changes to it so you might start to see some changes over the next few months.

I'll be back later this week to share pictures from our Prohibition Party we had this past weekend!

currently

Happy Friday! I am trying to post more often, but life seems to be going at a mile a second.  I read Moriah's currently post yesterday and was inspired to do one myself today.  It is more of my week and not today specifically, wink wink.

Currently my daily breakfast is this: coffee and oatmeal with bananas, a few dried pomegranates and walnuts with as sprinkle of brown sugar and cinnamon.  When it comes to breakfast I become a creature of habit during the week, if I eat it Monday chances are I will eat it every day.

Currently I have lunch at my desk most days. I have been spending about 45 minutes around lunch time doing turbo fire so lunch while checking email and facebook is the norm and I don't mind it at all.

I am currently obsessed with my Cinnamon Sticks ring! Canela is a real life friend I met at a Sew Funky Market I did last year, love her and her designs! Treat your self to one of her pretties, you won't regret it.

And finally, I am currently loving my newest shop additions, hoop art! They are made out of vintage sheets! I want to keep them all, but I think Scott doesn't want 20 of these in the living room!

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! xo

what i wore: finally sharing my first stitch fix

My first Stitch Fix came back in January and then life happened and I never posted about it. {I photographed this back in January so that counts for something, right??}

These skinny black pants are what I kept and can I just say that I loooove them! I wear them at least once a week.

necklace: soleil selene // sparkle sweatshirt: forever21 // plaid flannel: thrifted // black ponte pants: stitch fix // boots: nine west: years ago via my parents for Christmas

What is Stitch Fix? Glad you asked! It is basically an online shopping genius for your closet. You fill out a survey about your style, what you like, what your want etc, pick a date to get your box and then they send you 5 things to try on. You also have a personal shopper creating your box so they tailor it exactly to what you ask for and how you answered they questions.  Keep any of the pieces or keep all and get 20% off the entire box.

If you need to add more fun to your wardrobe or are a mama with no time to shop for fun new stuff Stitch Fix is for you!
