Last night Scott and I celebrated Valentine's Day early since next week he will be gone. We went to one of my favorite places to eat, The Cheesecake Factory. We realized the last time we ate there was last February when I went to Rhode Island to visit him while he was injured at OCS. So much has happened in the last year.
We also got to talking about our struggle with starting a family. I am realizing more and more my purpose here on earth is to use my voice to share my struggle about infertility. Using my voice to help share the issue of infertility and how it affects military families has helped me to be more at peace with our struggle and inability to conceive.
Yesterday I quickly realized that even if I don't win the Navy Spouse of the Year award I have already started a movement and I know I will make a difference.

I bought this shirt and shoes two weeks ago while in San Diego. We stopped in the Marine Corps Exchange for a quick shopping trip and I am not officially obsessed with both items! This top was perfect for our V-day date night.
